    Hi there.

Just a heads up - this is a user-to-user forum where we try to work through issues using some collective knowledge, so posting here to complain isn't really a productive use of energy.

Instead, why don't you submit a feature request to the PhaseOne dev team?

It's interesting that in several years of working with primarily white text on primarily dark background colour photo editing applications this is the first time I can recall anyone complaining about eyestrain from such a set up. It is users are therefore a surprise to read that you think a lot of users are put off by the choice currently applied.

I certainly don't find it a problem although I do ensure that I eliminate other bright light sources as far as possible and certainly avoid screen reflections.

I suspect that the choice of background is based on the practicalities of colour image editing rather than just a style choice however the only way to confirm this is to ask Phase through their chosen communication mechanism - a Support Case - as Brian Merwin has already suggested.

Do you guys realize how many of us out here would be converted over by just adding this little bit of customization?

And do you realise how unlikely it is that you're speaking for anyone but yourself?

Mac Book Air and 24 inch I Mac

I usually leave any website that uses white type on Black.

It is hard to read and I avoid it as much as possible.

If I can't avoid it I remain agitated, and put off.
