Folders by date
First of all, hello because it is my first post 😉
When you import your photos to the current location, is there any chance to change those folders to be dated visually?. I will try to explain; when you import from a memory card, you can do it showind those folders by date. When you import to the current location, I can't do that
Any method to see my folders by date instead of the name of the folder once you have imported them?

If you want to import at the current location, you can change the name of the folder either before you import, or (as long as you do it using the Capture One library tool) after import.
But the thing about importing at the current location is that you can't change the name of the folder or if the images at the moment of import.

Do you mean importing multiple images from a card into sub folders based on date? So that everything from 2019/11/xx goes into a folder named "2019-11", everything from 2019/12/xx goes into a folder named "2019-12" or some variation of that?

Hi Jose, I think we are all a bit confused about your question.
You initially talk about '... to change those folders to be dated...' and in the next line '...do it showing those folders by date'. Is it change or show?
Could you tell us more about what you want to achieve?0 -
Sorry to be so long in replying. I meant show. When you import from a memory card it is easy but, when you save your photos to a folder first and then you import them from there to C1, I don't know if I can do this automatically to be sorted by date or I have to change the folder's name manually adding the date myself

Not sure this is what you are after, but in the Import Images dialog, above the thumbnails, there is a drop-down list that let you choose how to sort, for example by date.
Sorry if this is not what you are looking for. Maybe you can give us an example and tell us more about what you do, what you see, and where the limitations occur.0 -
It doesn't matter. I will use the filters to sort out my photos by date 😉
