C1P v8: Viewing folders/hierarchy, no image count display?
Hi, Having some teething issues with getting my catalog/organization set up.
I would like to:
a) be able to see a total image count for folders (including any sub-folders) when viewing my library structure in hierarchal view
b) be able to select a parent folder and have all images from that folder (including sub-folders) be displayed as thumbs
c) if viewing in non-hierarcheal view, would like to be able to shift-select multiple folders (can only select one) and have all thumbs (including sub-folders) display
Basically, seeing my hierarchy is great, but how in the heck do I see counts, and select folders to get thumbnails to display for working on images?
Do I need to do something with creating collections?
The gist of it is that I would like to have a chronological view - by folder - that looks and works for choosing ranges of images to view just like the image below (warning, Lightroom content). Images from a Mac system, but I would presume this to be a generic question, thus posted in the Workflow and Common....
LR: Note folder that are "closed" show image counts, and "revealed" folders show total counts (and all thumbnails) from that folder, including sub-folders.

C1P: Note "closed" folders do not show image counts, and if I click on "2005" for example, no images are shown.

Thanks for any pointers. Moving to Capture One from Lightroom is an exciting prospect, and I'm looking forward to it!
