How to export a image naming as the keyword

    Hi Renan,

There is no way to use a Keyword for naming.

I asked about the possibility recently but since the option, if it existed, would really only be deliverable when only a single "keyword" was used for each image I was not expecting a positive reply.

If you look at some of the powerful options for deploying shoots into folders and then using the folder names in Output Naming you may find a workflow benefit that also resolves your naming need.

There was a recent webinar that covered this functionality.

See if that helps (assuming you have not watched it already!)

There are multiple file renaming applications that may do what you need outside Capture One. However; I reckon your question may have quite a few non-stated conditionals or requirements/expectations. A few questions for a start:

    1) What are your requirements/expectations when starting Capture One and then opening an Output folder after files in it have been renamed using a separate file renaming tool? What you see and what you need to do to see what you require/expect, may depend on you using seesions or catalog.

    2) Is the keyword in each image file a string that will make a "legal" file name on your computer system, or will the keyword string require tweaking to become or be part of a legal filename?

    3) Will the single keyword string in multiple images really make unique file names when processed as a batch, or do you need to add -1, -2 etc (silk.jpg, silk-1.jpg, silk-2.jpg) to prevent files from being overwritten or file renaming failure? And if you need this, is it ok to not have -0 on the first image (is silk.jpg ok or must it be silk-0.jpg to be in line with silk-1.jpg,...)?

The more requirements you have besides the renaming itself, the trickier it may become. If you provide more information about your requirements/expectations, forum members may have suggestions.
