Can't delete all the selected photos

Simple thing - selecting few photos in the catalogue, delete and expecting all the selected are deleted. But they are not , only one ... How is it possible ? Can't believe that such a trivial thing does not work here ?

  It does not specifically mention deleting files but in fact the same functional control applies everywhere I can think of when multiple images are selected and a "batch" type of operation is applied.

  "Edit all selected variants" is of course selected, yet it does not work and deletes only one photo out of many selected

  If you are sure that it's not that feature that is the problem the next question is how you are apply the delete action and what you are expecting.
  
  Delete file from disc?
  
  Delete file from catalog?
  
  Delete file from collection?
  
  Etc.
  
  If 'collection' - what sort of collection is it?
  
  If can be a little complex with different options available.
  
  I'm not a regular catalog user and also not a regular deleter of files so in this instance I think I will leave it to people who are both of those to offer the benefit of their experiences. However I think they would also ask the same questions in order to be able to start offering suggestions.
  
  Also they might ask whether you are using Mac or Windows and if so which version plus which version and release point of Capture One.
