I am at the beginning to organize my catalog. I think about working with different catalogs (Portrait, Landscape, Sports etc)
So here my question: If I have opened my sportskatalog and search for a special photo, I cannot search over all catalogs but only in the sportscatalog. Is that right ?

  That is right. The catalog is a search boundary.
