lens corrections
I have read that C1 lets you select a lens profile on the Lens Correction "page" and it will correct for distortion measured in the lens by PhaseOne and/or the manufacturer. My lens is a common one made by Tamron but is not on the list of profiled lens on the Lens Correction "page". This means, I assume, that neither PhaseOne nor Tamron have any distortion correction info on this lens.
Is there a way to have C1 analyze pictures taken with this lens, create a distortion profile for it, and then have it automatically applied to all images taken with this lens?
I'm coming from LR and it somehow automatically recognizes my lens make and model on its Lens Correction section and I can manually apply it to images taken with that lens. I might be able to apply it during import also but am not sure.

Yes, it looks as thought that one is not (yet) supported. It is worth requesting support for that lens by submitting a support case. Phase One will gauge whether to support it according to how many users request it. They don't just use manufacturers' data, but get hold of a copy of the lens themselves and create their own profile, so you can see why they would want to know how much demand there is before investing in the process.
