    Chris,

The Watermark is switched on and off in the recipe as you know.

If you have a recipe with a watermark switched ON selected when you view images the watermark will be displayed to show you where it would appear and how it would look. It is not applied to the images until you Process or Export them (same thing just a different way to manage the user interface).

You can turn the watermark off in your recipe and it will disappear from the display.

Alternatively choose a different process recipe ... one approach to that might be to have 2 version of each recipe, one with watermark activated, the other not activated. However whether that it easier to use than turning the watermark on and off would be a matter of personal preference.

I hope this helps to answer you question. I may have missed understanding something that you see in your system but the answer describes how it works for me.

    Hi Grant,
Thanks for your very helpful explanation. This is what I have done: I have created 3 recepies: 1: for selection only (with watermark), 2: for use on web (JPEG quality 3, 98 pixels) 3: for use in print (JPEG, 300 pixels, quality 10). In the C1 export file all the processed foto's show the watermark. When I do the export, only the file destinated for selection shows the watermark.

So it is as you said: a bit confusing, but that is how it is and it works.

    Again thanks, regards: Chris
