Moving Crop during shooting tethered
Hi
I've recently upgraded to v20 and now when we shoot tethered with a crop variant applied, the position and size of the crop slowly move inwards and up.
My workflow...
Shooting tethered with Nikon D810, 3x4 crop applied, Mac OS 10.13.6
Next Capture Adjustments is set to copy from last
My assistant enters the product code into the Next Capture Naming before we shoot a new product, she then enters the same code (copy/paste) into an Excel Sheet, then switches back to CaptureOne (alt-tab to switch apps). Sometimes she will use cursor keys to review images in the browser. She uses 1-5 on the keyboard to rate shots as we go too.
The Select tool is always selected during capture.
I can't see any pattern to the movement. We have to reset the crop every 20-30 images as when shooting models, the crop gradually cuts into their feet/head.
It's really important for us to use a 3x4 crop on our images as we're shooting so we can see exactly how the final crop will be applied for our client.
This is becoming quite a frustrating issue so any help would be appreciated!

This report was posted to the forum about a month ago.
Does it seem to be the same thing?
I would suggest creating a Support Case.

This is Greg64 from the "Crop Wavering" post of a month or so back. It is still a problem with this version and I actually can't use version 20. It is good that others are experiencing this (not really good, but at least I know I am not alone with this problem) so hopefully the developers will fix this quickly. I have submitted a ticket to them with evidence of this issue but they have kind of gone silent.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Any news on this? I used to shoot with my Fuji XT3 tethered and it took over my crops as well.
I have no idea when this stopped working, but it's annoying...0 -
I upgraded to 21 and all of my problems with registration issues have disappeared! I shot for over 3 weeks solid and everything was perfectly in registration when I layered my images in Photoshop. Version 20 was just a bust for me. Reminds me of Version 4; that was a buggy, frustrating time! I shoot Canon so I'm not sure if Fuji would still have issues, but I highly recommend 21 and any subsequent updates.

Hi Greg,
thanks for your update. I am on 21 already. I will have to check on my next shoot. :)
