    Consider going back to 20.0.2.

I've experienced multiple daily crashes with version 20.0.2 and 20.0.3

Today it happened while shooting tethered on a portrait shoot.  Not a good look.  Very frustrating.

    I'm on a 2019 iMac with Catalina 10.15.3

Maybe it's a Catalina thing, regardless, it's crazy frustrating.

It could possibly Catalina Eli.  I have upgraded recently and probably not used 20.0.2 again prior to upgrading Capture One

I am running Capture One 20.0.2 on an iMac 2017 with OS Catalina 10.15.2 and everything has been fine until this morning! Last night I closed Capture One and backed up my computer. Today, I opened Capture One but it keeps crashing whenever I try to open a catalog! I have a number of catalogs and it doesn't matter which one I try to open. Cap One seems to be "stuck" on the same catalog that was open when I shut down the program! This is more than frustrating!!!

Hold down the option key and then launch Capture One.  You'll be presented with a window that lets you select which catalog to open.  That may get Capture One launched.  Don't know what to tell you about restoring the catalog you think is giving you issues.

I have crush capture one since I switch to V20. Now I'm testing  betta version and get the same problem. I have few cases open with C1. They promise me, that this problem report as bug and will be fixed in this release. My C1 crushed till point , that sometimes impossible to use it at all. I never had problem like that with v12.

I know this may not help but there can be a large difference in hardware & software. I sure hope the Capture One support team can help with those crashes.  My experience is with Capture One Pro 20 with Phase One and Nikon files so that may be different than with Fuji files.

I was sent a Capture One 12 catalog and have been reloading files in it to cull and process.

I have been culling/editing this catalog for a photographer for 4 weeks now. Importing files sent to me via Dropbox. 31k 100mp Phase One IQ3 files. Doing a Locate and Sync. Each folder has a Project, Album and three Smart Albums. I normally work 2 - 4 hours at a time and 4-8 hours a day. Some projects have 500-700 files many around 300. Normally only quit Capture One Pro at night for the catalog backup. I haven't had one crash. Only booted MacOS twice during that time for other reasons not connected to Capture One.

I feel processing is at a good speed. The only time it is slow is when building the previews when I do a Locate since they are on my disk and not the photographers.

I am on Capture On 13.0.4.10 and the iMac is a late 2015 27" 5k is on Catalina 10.15.5 Beta. 64GB of memory. The files and catalog are on external hard drive with Thunderbolt 2. The catalog is now 209mb.

I feel really fortunate and I wish all of you the best in getting a stable system ASAP.
