    Try

    New Filled Layer

increase contrast up to +50 if necessary

reduce brightness to -50 if necessary

    adjust opacity to taste

use large soft erase brush with low flow to erase where de-haze not necessary.

Not my original idea its in a blog somewhere on this site.

Try as Dave R has suggested.

Or there are some good videos on You Tube if you wish for a visual guide.

Or just create your own interpretation.

Then save the results as a style and you have your very own instant starting point for enhancing your images when necessary.

Personally I find the clarity tool (and its optional types of clarity) one of the useful basic tools when some sort of de-haze is required.

If you think about the ways in which the data in the image can adjusted to increase the differentiation between pixels that have similar values in order to increase the differences, you will have many more ways of adapting to the particular needs of an individual image.

Also shoot RAW and use the Linear Profile in Base Characteristics.

There are different approaches. I quite liked this one here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2js4ELed3U

    Hi there,

Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.

I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.

Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.
