custom fields/customizing thumbnail view

Hi there
I use Capt One for all my raw processing for quite a long time and I'm quite happy with it.
Unfortunately, I cant say the same when it comes to it's DAM capabilities (I'm one of those MediaPro orphans...).
I'm still on C1 11 as I did not see the point of upgrading. 
I'm considering an upgrade to C1 20 and wonder if anyone could comment on any possible improvements on its DAM capabilities, specifically if it is now possible to add customer fields to a catalog and also to customize the thumbnail view so it displays a range of chosen fields rather than only labels/stars/Exif info.
