Lost adjustments
I have updated to 13.1.0.172 and have lost all of my adjustments to my RAW files. I have checked the files in folders on my Mac and all images have their XMP sidecar files. 99% of my editing is on the raw file so my tif files are not a problem. I have around 6000 raw file for a project I am working on, so I have some concerns. Any ideas how I can retrieve my editing.

Session or catalog?
xmp files are for metadata, not adjustments.
When opening a catalog or session with the new version the first time, has a backup been created?
Try using the search function on this page with "restore from backup", you will find two links on the top left side (knowledge base) which should help you restoring from a backup.

Further to BeOs comments, adjustments are stored in a database in the Catalog file (Its actually a bundle) or in the .cosessiondb file for a session.
You need to find or restore these from your previous version and work.
Finder has a useful search function, you should be able to find them by searching for .cocatalog or .cosessiondb files.
If Finder can't find them, Capture One's restore may help, if you were using Capture Ones backup. Otherwise perhaps time Machine may help.
