Delete variant/file from Browser needs a warning
I find that if I select a file or variant in the Browser and press the Delete key, poof - it's gone, including from the disk. This action should have an "Are you sure...?" dialog. ("Delete from disk" warning is set on in Preferences.)

I'm using the Pro Sony Windows version and any file deletions (Delete Key) from the capture folder get put in the trash folder.
Deletions (Delete Key) from the trash folder do bring up an "Are you sure" box.
There is no warning for variant deletion though.
What happens when you right click a file and choose "Delete, move to session trash"?0 -
gb: You're right - "Delete, move to session trash" does move the file to trash, and all my Delete Key deletions were there, too (which I hadn't realized). And deleting from trash does produce a warning as you describe, so I guess that resolves my concern.

Good to know.
If you ever want to bypass the Trash Folder, Alt + Delete will bring up a direct "Delete From Disk?" box.0
