Capture 4.5.2 Pro will not launch

I uploaded some shots from my CF card and accepted the auto backup option at the same time, both to seperate folders on my hard drive.(MacBook Pro OS X 10.5.5). This is the first time that I have used the backup option. C1 will not now launch, although it had previously worked without any problems. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

  Assuming that it is the backup location setting of the image import that is giving you troubles, I suggest the following two options to recover.
  
  1. Maybe your backup location is an external disk and that disk is disconnected. Connect the disk and change the backup location if CO4 starts up normally.
  
  2. Remove the preference list (.plist) file. This file holds all preferences and program settings. You can find it in <user name>/Library/Preferences. Full name is com.phaseone.captureone.plist. CO4 creates a new one next time you start the program. Note that you may loose some preferences you made during use of the program.

  Thanks again Paul. The second option (removing preference list file) worked perfectly. The backup location was actually a separate folder on the same hard drive of the MacB pro. Maybe this is a bug, as it did backup the images up to this folder but did not transfer them to the main folder that I had specified. Enjoy the holidays. rgds, Michael
