    Ok I did.. But I didnt get a support case # for some reason....

    I guess there is no phone support right?

    There is a number, if you own a digital back you have it. If you just own the software then a support case is the only available channel.

  • Permanently deleted user
    Try trashing the preferences from your user>library>preferences They are labeled com.phaseone... I think there should be three and restart the software. I'm not sure if you have to trash all three but I do.

    com.phaseone.application.captureonedslr.plist
    com.phaseone.captureone.LSSharedFileList.plist
    com.phaseone.captureone.plist (this one for sure)

    I do have the same issue since I installed 5.1 on a 64 Bit Windows 7 system, which does run stable for other applications since 3 month.
    Tried already to delete all user settings and also the Capture One folders in the Raw data folder.
    The crash does appear after seconds or sometimes after minutes after startinmg the software.
    It is not linked to any user action.
    I tried to create a support case, but this does not sem to be possible if you do have the software only.

    I can go back to version 5.02, which does run properly for me.

    You better post in the Windows forum (and look for solutions) because solutions are often specific to the operating system (removing the preferences for example is different but often helping in both Win & Mac). Regarding your support case, skip the Phase One product registration entry (first line) and create a case.
