Fill Mask Flow
Hi All.
I've banged around on all the settings I can think of but I can't find a way to set a density for filling in a mask. I often outline where I want a mask and fill it, but when I select Fill Mask it's not the same density as the brush settings I used to draw the outline. It seems to be somewhere around the equivalent of setting the brush flow to 10 or so. Ideas?
Thanks..Sam

The fill in the mask will reflect the lowest value in the outline you have drawn. So if you use a soft brush, and the full-intensity middle of the outline you draw doesn’t join up all the way round, but only the softer edges, you won’t get the full intensity fill, I think. Could that be it?

Thanks, Ian!
That's the ticket! I set the brush to 100% and it fills at that density. So I can just fill at 100% and use the opacity control for the layer to vary it. I didn't realize it picked the lowest density from the brush. Excellent.
