Media Pro stops Expression Media from working properly (Mac)
Hello,
we're currently using Expression Media 2.0.2 on Mac OS X (10.6.8).
Before upgrading totally to Media Pro, we wanted to test the trial version of Media Pro 1.4.1 at the same time.
But it happend that Media Pro breaks Expression Media in a kind of strange way:
- The catalog preview of .ivc files is no more available in the Finder. There is now just the .ivc file icon display
- And even worse: We're unable to save .ivc catalogs with Expression Media. While saving Expression Media says that there is an error and the catalog is corrupted (which is not true, luckily).
In short: We can't edit and update .ivc catalogs in Expression Media anymore.
That shouldn't be like this, right?

I've figured out the problem: The QuickLook plugin of Media Pro is breaking Expression Media.
Solution: Go to the Applications Folder and choose "Media Pro". Make a right click and choose "Show Package Contents".
Navigate to Contents > Library > QuickLook an delete the file "Media Pro Quick Look Plugin.qlgenerator".
Restart your Mac and Expression Media will start function again.0
