    Mike,

    It is easy to back out of the "DB mode". Start CO8 > Capture One menu > License > Deactivate > Restart CO8. It will now come back to the selection screen of modes or editions, and you can continue your trial with Pro.

    DB is feature-wise same as Pro but only for Phase One/Leaf for raw file support and tethering.
