live view on canon dslr
Hi
When will the live view feature come to capture one
other non Canon programs have it so it can't be propriety
I use shift lens for product photography and it would be really nice to be able to see the image in real time and not have to take a picture
My workflow at the moment involves using a animation program called Dragon stop motion and then have capture one open the files it captures which works but is painful

Or use EOS Utility (that is what I use for my Canon with shift lens)? 0 -
There are always plenty of questions and requests for features like this.
The bottom line is we support what we are allowed to/capable of. Many other software programs can provide this feature but without knowing what their agreement is with Canon it is hard to use their ability as evidence that it should be easily implemented in Capture One.
Another complication is that Phase One also makes camera systems, granted these are Medium format and not 35mm format so it can be argued that they are not in direct competition. However this complicates relationships with other camera manufactures a bit as we do share the market a bit.0
