Assigning keywords to multiple images not working
Hi,
I'm not able to assign keywords to more than one photo. Here's what I'm doing:
- In browser I select the photos I'd like to have attached a keyword (Cmd-A; all photos have a white frame).
- I switch to metadata tool and enter the keyword.
After pressing ENTER the keyword is applied to just one of the photos. It's the one with a slightly broader white frame (i.e. the one shown in the viewer). What am I doing wrong?
Best regards, Gian-Reto.

This is a workflow idea that is only applicable in Capture One for styles and presets. Other adjustments have to be first applied to the primary (as you have done), then copy paste them to the selected.
The best way to do this with meta data is to use the local copy/apply icon in the tool (small double headed arrow)
Select the batch
Add the keyword to the primary (thick border in the browser)
Click local copy apply icon in the keyword toolbar
A dialog box should display with the keywords adjustment ticked.
Press apply to paste the keyword/s to all the other selected.0 -

Nothing, you just assumed that C1 works as intuitively as all the other DAM tools out there 😕
To assign one keyword to multiple images you have to select all the images and drag and drop them onto the keyword in the filter section (part of the library tool tab).
Of course this only works if the keyword is already present in your catalog.0
