Moving session to catalogue with files on another disk

My working folder are on my computer hard drive. From these I work in sessions on my current shoots.
My archived folders of work are on an external disk and my archive C1 catalogue is based on the folders on this external disk (although the catalogue itself is on the computer).

Once a current job is completed, after a few weeks I need to move it off of the computer drive and onto the archive drive and catalog.
To import the session into the catalogue is easy of course but this still leaves the actual folders on the computer whilst I need them them to also move onto the archive disk.

So what is best method to move this whole session and its folders to the archive catalogue whilst also moving the folders themselves from the computer drive to the archive external drive?

Is it to use the import images command altering the 'store files section' to a folder on the archive external drive rather than importing a session and then trying to move the folders from one disk to another?

  Why not move the image/session folder off your computer and only then import into the catalog?
  
  Sessions have the advantage that their adjustments are stored in a file with the images and can be imported with a catalog.
  
  You cannot do this with images already imported. Your catalog gets corrupted, you lose all adjustments. So, this way you have a backup of the adjustments in the shape of settings files.
  
  In a future version, Phase One should add the settings to the actual file through XML sidecar files. The current way, where everything is stored in the catalog - non-transferable, by the way - is a disaster waiting to happen.
