color editor on a layer

Hello,
I think someone spoke yet about that problem in C1 7.
I am with Windows 7 -64, and Capture One 8.0.1.16.
Color editor works well with the whole picture, but does'nt on a layer. I usually work with two screens. I tried to work with only one , it dint' change , nor when I removed and re install the tool, or reinstall capture one..
Any idear?

    You create a mask before you use the color editor, right?

    Are you using the Advanced Editor features on your RAW file ? And the V8 engine?

    yes, V8 , and a mask..
    if I click Advanced, and pick up a color, it works, but basically, it does'nt:: nothing happens, no color visible on the screen, as it is when I work on the whole picture, and not on a mask..

    If you're signed up to Google+ then you get 14GB of free space to upload photos/videos (any image under 2048px longest edge doesn't count toward your 14GB space)

    upload your screenshot to there, then once it's uploaded you can right click (Copy Image URL) and post it in any forum 😊

    that's not showing us any information that is useful. what layer are you working on in that screenshot, and the preview of the mask?

    Hi,

    It seems (from the screenshot) that you try to use the Basic color editor on a layer. This is not supported. On a layer, you can use either the Advanced or the Skin Tone color editor.
