DIY color profile

Is it possible to create new color profiles? I know it's possible to do it with Adobe LightRoom.
I plan to use my digital camera to duplicate film negatives, if I can create a inverted color profile in Capture One, that's gonna save me a lot of time.

  You can create customs profiles in CO 4.6 Pro/DB. See:

  This is very difficult to do as the Orange Mask in negative films is very difficult to account for and changes from film to film of the same emulsion, let alone different emulsions, contrast is very low, yadda, yadda, yadda.
  
  My suggestion as a start point would be to use part of the mask as white point and go from there. I have tried this in Photoshop and could never get an acceptable result.
