Missing LCC presets
Hi all,
every time I save an LCC calibration for a lens it is saved to the library, but when I go to apply it using the drop-down menu, they are all missing. Sometimes they will reappear, but at random times.
Any ideas?

Hi Lucas
I have exactly the same issue. I pre-loaded a number of LCC's for my Horseman with fixed lenses plus various pre-set shift amounts.
When I launch the software often all the LCC's are missing, my work around is to click an image then check again and as if by magic all the LCC's are back..
I guess its not magic just a tiny bug, lets hope this along with the other issues are all sorted with the next update.
4.6 is otherwise great to use, the more I use the software the better it gets !

Same problem here. Also, LCC's applied to images are lost after switching sessions. Have to reapply and process then and there. We are an extremely high volume house with multiple phase backs and Canons and this is creating lost time in the thousands of dollars.
Reverted back to 4.6
Also, since reverting to 4.6 we continuously "cannot save" and "could not merge" errors.
Seriously WHAT IS THIS? When will C1 Pro be the stable workhouse we once respected, loved and depended upon?
Also, please advise on creating trouble tickets outside of the forum. We've used the tool on the site but to no avail.
Thanks.0 -
Hello
Very important to know about LCC's is that LCC is unique for each back.
This means that LCC list is empty if:
1. You are not viewing a file
2. The file you are viewing does not come from the same camera back as the LCC file was generated from.
Secondary is that LCC is handled better then in CO3 in regards to that in CO4, when a LCC is applied to a file a copy of it is moved in to the settings folder and has the same name as the file it was applied to. This way if you move the session to a different computer it is contained with in the session and not contained on the computer like it was in CO3.
When it comes to RAID and SANs etc we have some reports of issues saving to which might be what you are experiencing. I am personally working with reproducing right now.0 -
Thanks for replying, Ulf, but in this case I am doing everything you've mentioned, i.e. viewing an image and it is shot with the same back it was created for and still no LCC profiles come up in the list.
I work exclusively with a P25+ on my H1. I have a series of lens presets for my different lenses created in different situations and at different focal lengths for my zoom, none will appear in the list.
I will say that LCC issues seem to be less of a problem using 4.6, I'm not sure why.
I'm still having to apply LCC and it does not work as it's supposed to.0 -

Thanks.
I am experiencing both of these phenomena, too, and have posted recently about other problems. The way I get around losing LCCs and other adjustments when switching between sessions is to quit Capture One and then relaunch before switching sessions. The quitting seems to "cement" the changes. Hope this helps... The cannot save and could not merge messages are EXTREMELY annoying; like water torture!0 -
Has anyone addressed the cannot save and cannot merge warning messages? This is happening with p25 and canon 1dsMK3. Please, please address this and what can be done to make this stop. 0
