files damaged after rename…???
Is it possible to damage files in a rename process? All of my color, exposure and rating information has been dropped after renaming. In fact the files look like they have a grey cast and lost at least a half-stop of brightness which I can't seem to get back. I reimported some of the image files from original drive that haven't been renamed. The difference is visible here (screen capture):

The only think that I can think that has been done to the files since they looked fine was a rename. Oddly, the RAW/.NEF files seem fine in Bridge browser and can be opened in Photoshop/Adobe Raw processing as expected, but in C1 the files display and process far off the intended look.
Anyone…???

No.
However what you may have done is disassociate the file from the settings.
Create a support case with details and we'll have a look.0
