Capture One 5 and IPTC data

I have just purchased Capture One 5 Pro and have noticed that it appears to strip out the IPTC data added by other programs. Can somebody please advise me on the best way to get over this? Does it mean I have to add IPTC data such as keywords to all my images AGAIN in C1? I will be a bit upset if this is the case!

  Have you installed the latest 5.0.1 version? I can only speak for my usage where GPS information added by HoudahGeo was not passed on in version 5.0.0 but it was fixed and now works well for me in 5.0.1

  Yes, I am on the latest version. I have tried adding IPTC data in Photo Mechanic and in Lightroom, and either way it strips it. It is going to be a real pain if I have to re-edit all my IPTC data!

  Create a support case and send us some specific examples/files. As you can see from RIck's response we are always making changes to improve the software. Once we can identify what IPTC data is lost and why, we can do our best to accommodate for it.
