C1 Pro 5.2 connection issues
Hi, I'm having a great deal of difficulty with C1 pro 5.2 tethering with Phase backs P21+ P30+ and P40+ they will connect and work properly, But after each shot or during short pauses during the shot the back disconnects and switches back to card shooting (I have tried selecting firewire under the storage option). On the computer C1 still indicates that the back is connected, but the back will shoot to card. I can reconnect the back by switching the the camera option to 'none' and then switching back to the attached camera. I'm also getting isosynchronous port and firewire errors which are fixed by restarting the software. I have ruled out there being an issue with the firewire ports on both the back and computer as this issue appears to be consistent with different backs, firewire cables and computers. Is anyone else experiencing these problems?

Does the problem occur of you do not have a CF card in the back? 0 -
Not sure, I haven't had a free moment to test it without a card. we've been shooting in situations where we can't have any downtime from shooting, so basically if the software isn't working we go straight to card. I'll lose my job if there isn't a card in the back! I'll try and test it tomorrow. Is this a problem that can be reproduced back at phase one HQ? 0 -
