Activation

Anyone else having activation problems? I have a valid Key, successfully activate each time. But need to activate every time I open Media Pro. The activation is lost everytime I close and reopen the software. I'm quite tired of typing in my key, name, etc... Support claims I don't have admin privaledge... UAC is set to high (put to lowest setting without any affect)... removed the license files in C:\programdata\Phase one...... unloaded/reloaded software..... purchased new copy etc..

It has to be something to do with profiles.... but no one at Phase One seems to be able to pinpoint it. I have a brand new laptop, running win 7 - everything is up to date...

  Initially had the same problem and had to keep activating it. I can't remember how I over came it on my PC but now have a message saying "Cannot connect to the activation server". However it is still working.
  
  On my laptop Media Pro still asks for the Activation key and then crashes. So I have given up on it and use Expression Media before moving the images to the PC.

  I'd suggest you create a new user admin account and try to use Media Pro from the new account. If the error doesn't occur there then at least you know it's related to the other account.

  May be the account you was working with has no Admin privileges. UAC is another thing, and do not give you access totally everywhere in your computer.
  I even had another software which requires to be launched as Admin (right button "Run as") when doing some things, like Licencing, then can be launch in "normal user" for everyday use.
