Mac OS 10.4.2 and Capture One Pro 3.7.1

Capture One crashes as soon as it launches.

I start the application, it opens and I can see the last project that I was in, then the software crashes. I don't have time to select or change anything.

    Pb12\" 1.5 with Tiger 10.4.2

    and C1 3.7.1! 😄

    It is even faster than on my older Pb with 10.3.9 and 3.7.1

    There is indeed an issue and PhaseOne is aware of it. If none of the suggestions work (as was the case with me) it is best to contact support and open a ticket. They wil ask you to fwd crash logs to them.

    We are aware of it, it has happened to Users since v3.5

    The issue is typically a corrupt Batch Job that causes the crash on start-up.
    Often it is a huge process job i.e. TIFF in 16bit that hangs and remains in the queue, but several other issues can cause it to crash.

    Knowledge Base article # 1507 solves 99% of Users with this experience.

    In my case I found a conflict with a new piece of software I installed - You Control Desktops - www.yousoftware.com

    When the software is running - Phase One crashes - when I disable the software - everything is ok.

    Thanks - at last my problem is over also. I had You Control.app with You Control Fonts and Tunes. After stopping them 3.7.1 works fine with 10.4.2. I don´t know which one is \"quilty\" but I sent a message to You Software anyway.

    Whoa!!! That was it! I too use "You Control: Desktops" and when that is disabled 3.7.1 is off and running.

    Thanks very much for taking the time to post this...I am much obliged and will add this info to the open support ticket I have with PhaseOne.
