Preview Cache Preference Question
Hello;
I am using C1 Pro 3.75 with Windows XP. My question is about the Preview Cache Preferences. I now have the preference set to Never automatically clean up the preview cache. I have previews from 211 days ago resulting in 17,270 RAW files taking up 6.6 Gb of hard drive space. There are wedding and portrait previews images in the Cache.
I am under the impression that if I delete the preview files that all of my color and density corrections will be delete too - is this true?
My portrait sessions stay on my machine for a couple of months but my weddings are on my machine for several months and I don't want to loose my settings or have to re-generate the previews.
Does anyone have a recommendation on how to set the "Automatically clean up the preview cache" preference?
Thanks very much for your help!

The preferences related to clearing the preview cache delete only the low-res preview (c1p) files, not the work (c1w) files that store the exposure, crop, etc settings. If relevant preview files do not exist when you open a RAW session, C1 will auto-generate new ones and then apply the settings from any work files that may be present... the only penalty is some extra processing time at the start of the session. 0 -
