Synchronize COP settings between 2 machines
I need some advice; I hope somebody's able to help:
I have an iMac which I use as my primary workstation and a Macbook Pro which I use occasionally (when traveling, etc.). Both machines run El Capitan and COP 10.0.2.
I would like to have identical COP settings (process recipes, keyboard short cuts, environments, tools enables/order, etc.) on both machines at any time.
I assume that I can copy the settings from the iMac onto a USB stick and paste them to the corresponding location on the MBP (and vice versa if I made changes on the MBP side).
Is there another alternative to the above mentioned procedure and - apart from that - where do I find all the relevant settings, etc?
Appreciate your help and thanks in advance,
Mark

It looks like the search facility on the forum is somewhat compromised when trying to search for relevant terms to retrieve information that would help here.
I'm not a Mac person but I think this will help.
Try searching using this string in the forum search
~/Library/Application Support/Capture One/
and you should find quite a few posts that answer the same question and may contain some more useful background information.

Grant's on the right track.
I'd use ChronoSync to synchronize these folders in your ~/Library/Application Support/Capture One folder:
- KeyboardShortcuts
- Keywords
- Presets60
- all of the Recipes folders
- Styles
- Templates
- Workspaces
Note that the Library folder isn't visible normally. I get around this by showing it (Option-Go to Folder) and then creating an alias to the folder. Or you could just create an alias to the C1 folder and go from there. Or you could use your USB stick method to manually copy the above.0 -
Hi,
Thanks to both of you. Your feedback helped a lot - especially the ChronoSync tip war very valuable - and got just implemented 😉
Cheers,
Mark0
