Increase exposure relatively
Hi Forum!
I'm looking for a way to increase the exposure for a lot of selected variants, not to a fixed but to a relative value. For example, shot 1 is set to an exposure of +0.3 and shot 2 to exposure +0.6 and both are now to be increased by one more point, so shot 1 would be at +0.4, while shot 2 will be at +0.7. I can't find a way, every method ends at a defined value.
How do I achieve this? Thank you for every hint.

Hi,
If I understand you correctly the easiest way would be for you to create a local adjustment layer and fill the mask (can be done by right clicking the layer). Then change the exposure for that layer (in your example 0.1). You can then copy the local adjustment settings (the two arrows to the right of the question mark) and apply it to multiple images.
This will only work if your other images are not using local adjustments as this would overwrite them. Unfortunately in this scenario I am unsure of how to achieve what you want with the current version of Capture One.0 -
Thank you, gnwooding, nice idea but unfortunately it does not help. You've mentioned the drawback already, many of these images have local adjustments ... 0
