software, renames and replaces previously shot images.
Hi:
I am having a problem, with the software renaming images that I have shot earlier in the day. I am using a Mac G4 10.4.3 and and running phase one capture one pro 3.7.3 . I shoot a lot of drop and pop items, and they require a very specific naming with a very long name. I have found that I will shoot , and then when I go to name the image, the name is accepted, however, it will then delete another image from a while back and revert the new image to the default name. Sometime it renames a previously saved image, and sometime it deletes it. This means that now I have lost an image, that had already been saved earlier in the day. This will usually occur, after I walk away and have shot another image, I am usually shooting in composition mode and make sure when I shoot my next image that no image is selected. I usually rename the images in the preview window, and leave the name box in the capture tool box empty. it only happens when I shoot for this particular client. I am wondering if the big long name has something to do with it. It is becoming really annoying, since I have to set up again for the image that was already saved. Do you have any suggestions as to why this is happening. it only started to happen since the computer was upgraded to Tiger.

Try deleting all images in the trash folder. I had similar problems, though I was always able to find the missing files eventually. Seems that files names in the trash create a conflict when renaming in the capture folder. 0 -
😄 Thanks, I will give it a try. 0
