Can't close Variant Groups

Hi,
C1 11.2 - Session
Mac OSX 10.13.4
ARW raw files

I am unable to collapse a variant group.

There is no "group button located at the top left of the pick’s thumbnail (numbered as position 1)" as detailed in the online user's guide. There is however a numbered box on the top right hand corner of each variant.

The menu commands "collapse/expand" in the Image menu are greyed out.

Any suggestions.

  In your Image variant edit with the numbers in boxes at the top right, are any of them number 1 - the primary Image variant.
  
  Note: Just in case this is pertinent, the term "Variant" applies to variations of edits for the same image (thus the numbers in the top right corner) or any image, a specific edit variant as above or just another image or its variant(s), in a selection of images
  
  The Collapse and Expand relates to a Single Image and it variants. If you do not currently have the Primary variant of that image selected - i.e. edit variant 1 - then collapse and expand is not available.
  
  So if you have 10 images selected but they are all edit variant 2, say, of each image collapse and expand is not applicable.
  
  I you also select the Primary edit variant (1) for all of those images AS WELL AS THE number 2 (or higher) edit then Collapse and Expand should be available for one image or all images (If the "Edit ALL selected variants" toggles it set accordingly.)
  
  If it's nothing to to with that then I'm out of ideas and would suggest creating a Support Case (after closing and restarting C1 and then the whole computer if closing C1 does not change anything.)
