I'm still having all sorts of problems
Yesterday I wrote a topic about circles and x's showing up. I received a reply suggesting that I was in "Composition Mode" with a fix. I had to leave, so I turned off the computer. Later I started the computer again and the imprints were gone. So I edited more files. ( I never did find any tool for "Composition Mode" nor anything under the camera tool.)
Today I try to process the files and first get an error message "error setting source." I closed out of C1 and opened it again. I didn't get the error message. But just to test, I selected 3 files to process. C1 processes only the first one. I tried 3 different files and had the same thing happen. Only the first one gets processed.
I only run in Sessions Mode, not Catalog Mode.
I am totally stumped. I need some help.

Vaughn,
Please go to Edit>Edit All Selected Variants and ensure there is a 'Check' mark next to it.
Regarding "Composition Mode" please reference;

It may be advantageous for you to read the manual as well as watch the online tutorials.

Hello,
When I replied in the other thread, I referred you to the Menu - Camera->Composition Mode. Not the camera tool.
The Camera Menu has five elements - the first of which is "Composition Mode"
The "circles with x's" are shown when in Composition Mode to continually remind you that you are in that mode and hence new shots (when shooting tethered) will overwrite previous ones. This is not something that you want to leave on by mistake!
Capture One always starts up with Composition Mode disabled for obvious safety reasons. This is why the "circles with x's" disappeared when you re-started Capture One.
