Batch Re-name - Reset the counter.
Probably a simple one but I can't see how to do it !
Using batch rename on a bunch of images, I am replacing the default _DSC00blahblah with the shoot date and a sequential 3 digit number.
All worked fine on the first batch I renamed but on the second batch the numbers didn't reset to zero but carried on from where they had left off on the previous days shoot.
e.g.
2018_08_10-number317 was the last shot taken on 10 Aug,
but when I start to rename the pix taken on 15 Aug I get this: '2018_08_15-number318'
when in fact I want:
'2018_08_15-number001'
Should be simple to reset the counter shouldn't it ?
Well I can't see how !
Any informed thoughts out there ?

It is simple. In the batch rename dialog box, click the ... button. (The one at the top, not the one by the format field.)

You can also make a keyboard shortcut that does this. 😊 0 -
Thanks guys
the little menu thingy "..." works , when you find it.
(or rather when some kind soul tells you where it is)
Not exactly obvious is it ?
