Sessions to Catalog

Upon upgrading from C17 to C18, I adopted the catalog (via LR import) method of working. Do the folders created under C17 (sessions) now serve any purpose or can they be deleted? I do wish to retain ratings, crops and edits performed under C17, but I never used the Selects, Output or Trash folder options under sessions (if that matters).

  Before giving an answer, may I assume that you have imported the images with adjustments into the catalog. I mean the images that you worked on in sessions?

  Some, but not all, have been imported. How should I proceed?

  When you continue to work with one or more CO8 catalogs, and import images for the session folders (Capture Folder or other folder) with settings in their respective subfolder, then you can delete the Selects, Trash and Output folder from each session you created. The session file (*.cosessiondb or *.col50) could be deleted as well. You will not be able to start up the session again.
