Displaying size of cropped images
Sorry if this is a trivial question to which the answere should be obvious, but I have failed to find it. I cannot see how to view the size of a cropped image when cropping in C1. I am not concerned with printing/exporting but only with the number of pixels in the image in C1. When cropping, there are labels on two edges of the cropped area, but these show proportions, not the actual number of pixels. Why do I want to know actual Pixels? If I am cropping a lot (eg distant birds) I want to know whether I have enough pixels left to make a decent image. In LR, the the library module shows both the original file size and the size of the cropped image, but C1 does not seem to do this.
I can't help thinking there must be an easy solution, but I cannot see it.

There is an easy solution. The dimensions you see when you crop depend on the process recipe you currently have selected. So I have a recipe that produces output of 1600px long side (to put on social media) and if I crop when that is selected, it always shows 1600 on the long side of the crop, because that is the size of the output that will be produced. If you want to see the actual pixels while you crop, you need to have a recipe selected where the scale setting in that recipe says Fixed and 100%.

Thank you. I shall try this. I had not noticed that the process recipes affected what happened when you were not outputting files, and had not noticed the fixed/100% option. 0
