Pro 8 for Sony: Cannot develop image
Long-time LightRoom user here. I've been using Capture One 8 Express with my Sony A7 and NEX-F3 for the past week and loved it so much that I purchased the wonderfully affordable Pro upgrade.
In trying to export a jpg variant form a RAW file off my NEX-F3, I get the error "Cannot develop image". If I reset all adjustments, I am able to export from the same RAW file with no issue.
Is anyone aware of any particular adjustments that could cause this issue, or is there some licensing limitation with the Pro upgrade? The error log messages aren't very specific.

Thanks in advance.

After some testing, it appears that the local adjustments are the culprit. I cannot export a variant on any RAW files from either my Sony A7 or NEX-F3 that have any local adjustment layers applied. ☹️ 0 -
No I don't think that's it as I have pro for Sony version and that exports Sony raw images as JPEGs which have had local adjustment layes created.
If all else fails sart a support ticket and tell them the problem, Tech help in Denmark is vey good and will help you with suggestions.
My only suggestion is have a very good look at your out put settings as ther may be something there but I doubt it0 -
It turned-out to be an issue with my installation of Windows 8.1...not sure exactly what, but I re-installed Windows (it was way overdue anyway) and the issue was resolved. 0
