Capture One does not support the renaming of folders in catalogs (I don't use sessions, so don't know if you can do it there).

The suggested workaround is to rename the folder in Windows Explorer. This will cause Capture to show folder and the images in it as "Offline". You then need to use the "Locate" option in Capture One to tell it where the folder or images files are now located. This is not very friendly, especially if you have a hierarchical folder structure and need to rename a folder near the top of the hierarchy.

If enough people raise a support case requesting this as a feature enhancement, then maybe Phase One will add the facility.

    Thanks Richard!

Man, omG, sad to hear, that a profi raw converter does not handle file renaming in catalogs - what a night mare!
Just startet a support case concerning this issue.

Catalog is considered not changeable structure moreover on Mac packed like a single file.
You cannot edit any structure inside it.
It uses virtual catalogs that are stored in database of catalog.
If you want to do so, sessions is a better way to approach it.
