Hi there,

a session in C1Pro consist of a few different folders.

in every folder within the session there is one folder called CAPTURE ONE SETTINGS[/color:sibd5022] in there the is 3 more folders IMAGESETTINGS[/color:sibd5022], PREVIEWS[/color:sibd5022] and THUMBNAILS[/color:sibd5022].

In the IMAGESETTINGS folder there is a .plist file associated with each picture and that .plist contains all the info like WB, exposure...

In C1Pro, in the Organize Panel, at the bottom left there is a small windows that let you browse your HDD, DVD... Simply browse to where the file is located...

it will not add the picture to the current session, it will only temporarely open it.

Hope I'm clear enough... if not, search the forum... those 2 questions have been answered tons-O-times.

Cheers

Hi.

The only problem is that I rename my image and store them in subfolders with other images from different shoots. (this is basic digital asset management with iView), and there is no way for me to save each individual image setting. That would create a big mess.

Isn't there a way to save the settings, renamed for the job, in a sort of separate settings folder independent of the images?

Thanks for answering question 2.

Hi,
I believe that once you are working with the file and have created a new session for work with the file, you can save what ever settings you have applied to the file and apply them later on again if necessary to the same file or other file if necessary. Just save and load later to said file. Just be sure to name the settings the same as the file to be associated with it for later use. The folders can then be trashed. If I am wrong someone please correct me.
