A little bit of help, moving folders to another hard drive

Hi everyone

I have searched and read about moving pics to another hard drive, but I confess to not fully understanding the process, therefore don't wish to just to leap into things and regret it !

Current set up is Catalogue>referenced. Stored on 1TB SSD (which is getting full!). I have another 1TB in the mac mini and this is where I wish to move some of the folders that I will no longer be editing so to speak. I keep the SSD for working folders.

I know I have to work within C1 to keep the adjustments. This is about as far as I understand.. not very far then !! 😊

Could someone kindly guide me into how I move them? I back up everytime so that is there for safe keeping ! I also run CrashPlan so the name of the folders will remain the same.

  Gill, you can move the folders onto any drive you want, as long as you don't change any names. At the moment you must do it in the finder. Once you open capture one it will show as a missing folder (red light in the folders in the library panel) option click on the missing ones, find them and you are done. Simple as long as you do it this way
