C1 for LightPhase?

Is it possible to process files [using C1] captured with the discontinued LightPhase digital back. If yes, will the results be \"better\" than with the original software?

  The answers to your two questions is yes and yes, and even better in the comming version of Capture One called 3.7 where you have possibility to set the amount of Chroma Noise suppression.
  
  Only limitation is that you can not use Lightphase units with serial number start with BB00*****, files can be processed but not captured.
  Following modells (BB01, BB02 and BB03) works fine and LightPhase modells for Contax and Mamiya (BK00 and BM00)

  I have recently processed several raw files from my Lightphase back with C1 Pro 3.6. When compared with files processed with the old software the developed files are yellow and blown out! It's not my idea of an improvement. Any suggestions?

  can be several reasons, but the most obvious is that you are applying the old profiles in new software, also see your images in the software, are they yellow and blown out? does software match end result?
