Problem with processing!
Hi!
I'm currently using c1 pro 3.7. Got a 20d and a 1d mark II.
When i process multiple images the process thing stops from time to time and i have to press the. \"process the batch\" button.
Anyone know what the problem is?
Thanks.

geronimo,
In general, you should be able to process an entire batch without problems. Of course a Batch may be 250 images for one studio while 2,000 for another. Be sure your machine is up to the task with sufficient abilities with at least 1GB RAM, clean Defrag etc. Other software operating in the background can slow or tax a machines process ability.
Processing to/from a network or external hard drive can affect processing efficiency if Firewall and/or anit-virus software is enabled.
Having selected JPEGs within a RAW session, or a corrupt file within a Session can stop batch processing. Any file or folder that has been renamed or moved, after image has been added to the queue will stop processing as well.
We’ve seen problems when new internal drive locations are added to a machine and set as a Process To location; and also with changing the Process To location often. Windows is most efficient when the Process To location remains constant. The best setting to have established is the Set Process Folder… and check the Always process images to associated image folder
As a final fix if still not working properly is to delete a file.
C:\\Program Files\\Phase One\\C1 Pro\\Preferences and within this location is the FoldersList.fld file. With software shutdown, delete this file and then relaunch.
Let us know how this goes for you, and what may have been the culprit.
Sincerely,
kdc0
