Slow loading of catalogues
Using latest Capture One version 8...
Mac 10.9.5 on Macbook pro 2.3 GHz Intel core i7 (not the fastest fates mac but still very good and works effortlessly on Photoshop and capture One processing and sessions
I'm absolutely loving the new processing from V8.
Sessions working really well and fast.
Catalogues once I'm in are good..
The only issue I have is that it is taking ages for the catalogues to load. I have my image split over a few so wetehr large or small ones still a long time is spent looking at the loading dialogue.
Has anyone else found this and what is the best solution to avoid it?
Thanks,
Marc

I'm dealing with catalog issues myself.
I have a six core Mac Pro (2012) with the catalog on a SSD drive.
So its not entirely your machine if its your machine at all.
I have a support case open so maybe my solution (when it comes) will be of help to you.0 -
Hi Marc,
can you pls be more specific on the time needed to load the catalog and on the size of the catalogs?0
