How to create a keyword library from CO8
I updated to CO9 and expected to find all my keywords from version 8 in the new Keyword Library - but that's empty.
There are keywords assigned to some photos though.
But how can I get all existing keywords from my photos summarized in the new library?

I assume all your photos are now in the CO9 catalog? 0 -
If you have not already seen this video tutorial it may be useful.
I am assuming that there is nothing odd about your installation that may be preventing you from doing what is described in the video.

@Bob: True! I copied my complete CO8 catalog with photos and keywords and opened it with CO9.
@Grant: I did already watch the tutorial, but it doesn't help in my case.
At 0:20sec it is said "All keywords that are added to images in the current session or catalog form a keyword library which is shown here".
An arrow is indicating to the section "Catalog Keywords" inside the new Keyword Library tool.
As I said, I expected to find all my existing keywords there, but it's empty.
Any idea? How does it look for you? Do you see your keywords from the previous version 8?

This has been described previously on this forum. Hoping there was a simple way to access the keywords I asked tech support, but the answer I received merely restated the problem without suggesting a solution. So I followed the previous posting and did the following; that solved my problem.
1) Create a new catalog. I called mine "trash."
2) Be sure your real catalog is closed and "trash" is open.
3) Export the keywords from the real catalog.
4) Close the trash catalog.
5) Open the real catalog and import the key words.
6) Check that everything is ok, then delete the trash catalog.
The instruction on importing and exporting are in the help file.
This worked for me. This is clearly a bug that needs to be fixed.
