Local copy and apply - not working

I can no longer apply local adjustments to a selection by holding the Shift-key while clikking the "Local copy and apply"-button.
Nothing happens.
The tags I want to apply in the adjustment clippboard is taged.

I have reinstalled 5.0.1, with no effect.

  How are you using the local copy and apply? What field are you changing?
  The local Copy and Apply is to be used when selecting multiple images at once, applying the adjustments from the primary to the rest of the selected images.

  Hi Drew,
  Today, whith my head a bit more clear, I have lookad at it again.
  Comparing my two computers, I found that the reason was that I by mistake had clicked on the icon for "Edit primary variant only" in the toolbar.
  I have now removed it from the toolbar on my laptop, so it wil not by accident happen again.
