DNG files from Nikon D3s and D700

I got dng files which I need to edit, however why is that the sliders in lens tab are all disabled?

  CO 6 can not read the lens information of converted DNG files, only from original raw and DNG files.

  yikes, what if after I edit the raw files in c1 I export it as a dng file, is there possibility that c1 can read the dng lens again?

  Why do twice the work?
  If you have the original RAW from the camera, then Capture One supports it entirely. As a DNG is an edited version of the RAW file, it is not fully supported. We do support RAW DNG format from Adobe, but as you have found some data is restructured in these files and we cannot properly access/read it to offer full file support.
