Unable to reopen image post C1 crash
I was processing an image and C1 Pro v6 crashed whilst doing so.
When I restarted C1, there was a triangle with a ! in the centre. The image was still in the process queue, but this had a ? in a circle.
The file still exists, as do the .cos .cop and .cof files. I am using eip and so can't open the file using any other RAW processor. I've tried using Time machine, but this doesn't seem to have any of my PP work saved. I'd renamed it, so no problem with the two images in the same folder.
I have 3 adjustment layers with quite a lot of brushwork to selectively burn and dodge areas of the image.
When processing the image, it wrote the 1024pixel jpeg, but not the full sized 16 bit tiff which I wanted.
Any ideas how I can get C1 to read the file itself and all the settings which I'd made please?
I have some other files in the same situation, but these weren't so important, so haven't asked until this happened today.
I can do a support case in the morning, but thought I would ask here first.
Many thanks
Baxter

Some tips:
- clear the process queue and process history
- try to unpack the EIP from CO6 or (if that does not help) manually (it is a ZIP file)
- trash the .cop/.cof files0 -
Thanks Paul
I opened a support case this morning and am just uploading the file as they want to have a look at it. I'm keen for this to happen especially if it is the result of a bug in the software that needs fixing.
Keen to try your method, but don't want to alter the set-up which I've explained to them.
Obviously it was delayed this morning due to Phase updating their website with exciting information about the new IQ backs.
Best wishes
